Divy

Divy enabled first time investors the ability to buy stocks in $10 fractional shares. The platform created a social community to connect with emerging investors, friends, and family. Trading fees, high stock prices (Google), and limited investing knowledge all contribute to creating artificial barriers for new investors.

During my two years with Divy, I had the opportunity to work on product, UI/UX design, and business development:

- Created wireframes mock ups for the engineering team to provide high-level sizings.
- Crafted stock gift card strategy.
- Strategiezed ways to increase user engagement and retention through features including social feed, adding friends, and messaging.
- Provided UI/UX recommendations for onboarding flow, navigation bar, and stock themes
- Researched data elements needed during onboarding. (FN, LN, SSN, Email, DOB, Address, etc.)
- Improved stock search functionality through the use of additional data elements including company owned brands, key executives, and products.
