When will I be paid out?
Every month we will send out your earnings through PayPal.
How much does this cost?
Nothing. Uncovr makes money when you make money. We monitor your content across YouTube and place content claims on your intellectual property being used without proper rights.
What if I already have videos on YouTube that I have uploaded?
That’s totally fine! We are looking to protect your intellectual property that is not uploaded personally by you on YouTube. We like to think of ourselves as your watchful guardians.
Do I have to sign a contract?
Nope. You’re free to come or go as needed. Though we promise you won’t want to leave :)
How does Uncovr make money?
We make money on a revenue sharing model based off the content claims we make on your behalf. Uncovr aligns our goals with the artist in mind and we make money when you make money.
What does Uncovr need from me to get started?
After on-boarding you on to our platform, we need the creative content that you have exclusive rights to (e.g. You created the music 100% on your own). We are able to work with any file format, so no need to convert them.
What about my creative content on other platforms like Facebook and Twitter?
Our team is working hard to bring content protection and revenue generation to other platforms such as Twitter and Facebook
I thought YouTube has a Content ID Tool to find intellectual property?
You’re absolutely right. YouTube does have a Content ID Tool that assists in finding intellectual property. However, many times videos such as compilations, remixes, etc. slip past YouTube’s Content ID system.
What do you need from me to get started?
All you need to do is upload the music you want Uncover to look for on YouTube. Any file format is fine, we’ll do the formatting.
What if I haven’t put any music on YouTube?
Even if you have not put any music on YouTube, there are many manys your creative content can end up on the site. Some common examples include remixes, lyric videos, fan videos, etc. We work with YouTube to find your music and monetize it on your behalf.
